Dr. Hadi Susanto Pasaribu notably worked as a government official for the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry. Along with his contribution to developing policy frameworks for sustainable forest management in Indonesia, Dr. Pasaribu has been participating in various international organizations in the field of but not limited to forestry.
He had been one member of the Board of Trustees for the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and the Steering Committee for Professional Certification Institute in Forest Management.
He also has been served as an Adjunct Professor at Seoul National University in Korea and Board of Trustees of Tropenbos International. From 2013 to 2016 he has working for ASEAN-Korea Forest Cooperation Secretariat (AFoCo Secretariat) as Executive Director. His current position is Chairman Forest For Life Indonesia.
